WordPress Tip: What are Gravatars?

Have you ever been to a WordPress website and saw a comment that had someone’s picture by it? While on the same website, you also saw pictures that were generic? Then you were viewing a Gravatar. Basically, Gravatars are small images that can be associated with one’s profile when leaving a comment on a website. WordPress has built-in Gravatar support as of version 2.5 and is a great way to add interactivity to your WordPress blog.

To better help you understand the benefits of adding Gravatar support to your WordPress theme, I have compiled a list of links to important information that will further explain Gravatars.
